How to use this online help

The online help consists of three sections, the frames:

Top frame (header) with information on the help

Left frame with the menu tree

Main frame containing the help topics

The following figure shows an example of the left frame and the main frame:

The following table describes the navigation options via the symbols in the left frame:

Symbol

Meaning

Lists all headings of the help pages

Selecting a heading shows the corresponding help page.

Lists all help pages which contain a previously entered search term

General:

The help pages are sorted by frequency of the search term.

All words which match the entered search term are highlighted in the corresponding help page.

The search do not differentiate between upper and lower case.

Search terms must be entered in full.

If a search term is not found, it could be because you did not enter the entire term (search term providerInter does not return any hits, while providerInterface does). Repeat the search with the full term if necessary.

Search operators

Logical AND function: dot, space or comma

If you enter a search term that contains dots, spaces or commas, the search evaluates these characters as an OR operation and returns all pages that contain at least one of the specified words (e.g. for the search term test.bics pages with the terms test and/or bics are found).

Logical AND function: plus sign

To find a help page that contains all the specified terms but in any position, use the plus sign (bics+test).

Exact character string: inverted commas

Use inverted commas ("test.bics") to find only hits with exactly the specified character string.
